OAKLAND

if you ever get to SF, make sure you take the small BART (bay area train) ride under the water to oakland. along the way youl see a rad roof roller by SWAMPY and a few other bits and bobs.

once there get of at LAKE MERRIT for a stroll around and check out the streets. lots of bombing and street hands to be seen. and a pretty good viet community if your in the mood for PHO SOUP. coupla really good record stores there too if your a crate digger..

i painted this for a good bud of mine back home whose best mate JACK just  passed. jack was known to most as the only dude who loved nothing more than to have a tea towel placed over his eyes for the whole day. jack was also known to have four legs, a shiney coat and amazing lust for life. rip brother jack.

LAWRENCE KANSAS

after a couple of chill days in IOWA i found myself at this place. its small but rad. the whole town is built around kansas uni thus making it a melting pot of young creatives. pretty rad bars around the main street (MASS st) and the live music scene is pretty vibrant.

saw i small amount of graff here, but it seems most of it get buffd pretty quick.got involved in an art show held by the lawrence art center and got to pimp a ute out which was rad. got interviewed by the paper which was funny and hung out with a long lost mate which was beaut. got to check out some of the mid wests finest blues and bbq joints. a must if you get out there. dodged a few crazy tornadoes. a must if you ever get out there...
