wow. this joint is a joint....
brooklyn, queens, the bronx, harlem, coney, green point. spots galore. the trains run 24/7 and everywhere you look
something catches your eye.. met WAYN{O} his new name in my mind and DMOTE and was blown away by there chill styles. happy to chat. always good when you dont get a face full of staunch.. also stumbled apon the crack is wack KIETH HARING wall in harlem.. amazing what you find in this place if you just wander around.
head to bushwick in brooklyn, its on the grey L line. have a wander and youl find some rad productions.. notably some WAYNO and EWOK and others youl froth over... heaps of bombing too IRACK cru, 17 and even good ole MANMAN... theres a big backpackers there too, pricy but at least you can rest ya head.
the place to eat here seems to be the alligator a few stops up the line. every beer you buy you get a free pizza... carefull tho, too much cheese equals pain..
put up heaps of flix... enjoy.

if you havnt been to frisco yet, your letting yourself down. from castro to the embarcadero and 16th and 24th and the almighty mission street, theres something here for everyone. theres a huge south american contingent here leaving you with the freshest tacos youv ever had the pleasure of paying a buck fifty for... "tres sueadero per favore, grazias"....

art is everywhere here too. interrestingly tho with the spanish and mexican influence theres alot of tribal meurals everywhere.. i loved their use of colour and imagery and alot of it is by brush which was refreshing.
in terms of graff, this place has it all too. being home to SABER and REYES{msk} and many more killas it has so much quality painting. lotsa big productions that were cool to see in person, but also alot of bombing. very stylised hands over here too. one dude i mets killin it over here at the mo, TORO... rad throws everywhere. also saw alot of PSY and ORFN... also a MAYOE was up everywhere and THE. if stickers, stencils and past ups is more your gaff then theres plenty of that too..
was awsome to see old DARE pieces and KEM. theres so much graff history here. youl lose ya mind looking to and fro.even a few RIBBITY and PANDA SEX markings around.. il post piks of them later on..

oh and i thought melbourne had alot of fixies... not even close to the amount here, which is strange coz this place is layed out like the himalayas. bring ya steeze board and your sure to have a good time..

so then i went to the states..

first up was LA. funny place, a mix of genuine people and genuine fake people. something about that place felt awkward and i guess i was expecting alot more graff to spy.. apart from a few tags here and there and the odd throwy, it was slim pickings. it caught me off guard and i found myself drinking many a beer scratching my head. i guess it made sense once i observed from a far for a few minutes... fair enough. a: cops are everywhere out there due to the gangs, crack slingers, pros and yobbo ausies and 2: the buff patrol is at work 24/7 painting and scrubbing away at anything that looks like the council didnt put it there. leaving alot of missmatched buff marks, i always got tempted to outline the blobs and turn them into wierd creatures. just like mr squiggle. but with a 30 mil burner nose...

a funny thing happened when i walked into a shop on my last day tho, bumped into david beckham. he looked at me, i looked at him... id like to think i asserted physical dominance..
